Our Solution
The Omnifir team constructed a full-link proactive smart fire protection system based on the Internet of Things (IoT), edge computing, and AI algorithms, covering “Perception — Early Warning — Linkage — Optimization“.
- “Terminal + Edge + Cloud” Distributed Architecture
- Terminal: Deploy multi-source intelligent sensing terminals to break the limitations of single-source perception.
- Edge: Relying on 5G and NB-IoT technologies to build an internal network; even if the public network is interrupted or local infrastructure is damaged, it maintains critical alarm signal transmission to ensure information is never interrupted.
- Cloud: Integrates Building Information Modeling (BIM) with real-time IoT data to generate a visual operation interface for 24/7 real-time monitoring.
- Full-Process Digital Management
- From the recording of hazards at the perception terminal to the automatic dispatch of electronic work orders and on-site disposal by maintenance personnel, the entire process is logged and traceable; monthly hazard heat maps are generated to guide inspection priorities.
- Dual-Objective Optimization Model
- The platform features a built-in dual-objective optimization model that operates with “Minimum Energy Consumption” under non-fire conditions; once a fire alarm is triggered, it instantaneously switches to “Maximum Safety” mode, automatically cutting off non-essential loads to safeguard life and property.
Engineering Highlights
- Visual, Controllable, and Manageable:Clients can view 3D building models, alarm locations, and inspection trajectories in real-time via the command center’s large screen or mobile terminals. Key indicators such as water tank levels and power distribution room temperatures are visually presented using red, yellow, and green lights, with abnormal items automatically prioritized at the top.
- Significant Energy Savings and Efficiency:
- Pump Optimization: By optimizing the start/stop pressure thresholds for the pressure-stabilizing pumps based on platform prompts, a single pump can save 12,000 kWh of electricity annually.
- Reduction in Total Energy Consumption: By flexibly tuning non-fire loads in conjunction with business operation data, the complex’s total energy consumption decreased by 8%–12% month-on-month, saving over one million RMB in annual energy expenditures.
- Transforming from Passive to Proactive Security:Security personnel are no longer tied to the fire control room but perform mobile duties with handheld terminals, achieving a fundamental shift from “people waiting for alarms” to “alarms seeking people,” ensuring a more timely response.
- Rapid Alarm Response:Once abnormal data is flagged, the system connects directly to the client’s contact terminal within 60 seconds, ensuring that fire hazards are discovered and addressed in their budding stage.
